For Cold and Warm Bitcoin Blockchain Game I need historic block header data in ASCII, CSV or json format

Promise is promise. I have promised my students to come with Cold and Warm Bitcoin Game, based on Bitcoin Blockchain block header data, as soon as possible but it took me already months since I am stuck making efforts to download historic block header data in ASCII format, to be entered into mining simulator. A student should play cold and warm game entering his guess nonce as input to let mining algorithm (block hashing) to verify his lucky number.
Other students having known the winning nonce should give him/her commands cold or warm, colder, warmer, hot.
Block number should be random selected and nonce should be entered by a slider
There are many websites offering API to block explorer service but none is known to me to let me download full Bitcoin blockchain historic header data.
For the most services, nonce is missing or is set to "0" by default.
I would greatly appreciate your help and advice.

Possible to get detailed Bitcoin historical pricing data?

Possible to get detailed Bitcoin historical pricing data?
I've searched around quite a bit, but maybe I'm not using the right words. I'm looking for a tight interval bitcoin pricing data-set over time, perhaps in CSV format or something. Is this a crazy ask? I'm looking for something similar to the pic below. I know some APIs exist for extracting historical data, but I'd be rate limited before I could get the kind of data I'm after. Sorry if I'm asking in the wrong place, but thanks for reading.

A more detailed look into Localbitcoins.com data

TL;DR
Localbitcoins.com did 34,000 BTC a week ago, spread out over ~50 local currencies. Check out the graphs!
Summary
Last week I did a short analysis on trades at Localbitcoins.com (LBTC). I wasn't satisfied with the incomplete data Bitcoincharts.com gave me and decided to delve a bit deeper, with some nice data and graphs as a result!
Problem
LBTC doesn't publicly summarize their own statistics, they only provide historical trade data via their API. Bitcoincharts.com does a decent summary but only for ~15 currencies. Big LBTC currencies like CNY are not listed there.
Questions
The questions I wanted answered from LBTC's API was:
Approach
So to get a complete picture I sharpened my Python skills and went straight into the LBTC API myself, scraping all currencies I could find and summing the numbers on a weekly basis, starting at 11 march 2013 (the start of LBTC trading).
My aggregates differ from Bitcoincharts as I believe they take a different weekly cutoff point. As of right now, their new week with timestamp "2015-06-15" has already started even though in GMT terms it's still 2015-06-14. (My next week starts at 2015-06-15 00:00 UTC which I believe is in line with GMT?) In that light, the week isn't over yet, so my data will seem incomplete.
To calculate total Fiat volume, I calculated the weighted USD price per BTC on LBTC and applied it to every currency. This is not ideal, however since USD accounts for over 50% of all LBTC trades, it's close enough. Note that the LBTC price per BTC is usually 5-10% higher than on centralized exchanges.
Data
Summary Graphs
I was going to write something interesting, but a picture says a thousand words:
The top 5 currencies (USD, GBP, EUR, AUD, RUB) account for roughly 80% of LBTC's volume. What's interesting though is that smaller currencies are growing rapidly:
Interesting currencies
Here are some interesting currencies that are trading on LBTC and not visible on Bitcoincharts.com:
Conclusion
I don't know how trustworthy LBTC is as a source. All I can say is, if it's data is valid, we're only at the beginning of global BTC acceptance -- which of course doesn't mean the growth we see now is going to continue.
I'm personally very excited to see hard numbers for Kenya, Philippines, Ukraine, Venezuela etc. etc. even though those numbers are still very small.
Thanks for your attention!
Edited for layout
Edit2 Thanks everyone for the kind remarks and generous tips, true gentlepeople all around! I will try to update the data now and then, but don't take my word for it :)

I created a Free Tax Calculator and subtly promote NANO in it. Please Read!

Edit: The "historical Price Download", is not working anymore as bandwidth on Github LFS is limited (I didnt know that). I am reuploading it on Google Drive after work :))
Hi together! I created a Free Python Script to process your trade histories.
I am a big NANO supporter and I subtly promote NANO in it :P (Check out the Logo and Screenshots) As I could only use my transaction histories I need your help.
Please follow the HOWTO (below) and try to calculate your profits! If you run into any problems (and there will be bugs!) or if you need more exchanges write it in the comments and I will add them! (I could only integrate the ones I use, cause I only got csv files from there)
The tool is working fine for me and I could perfectly calculate my profit, payed fees and last buy times to determine the 12 month holding time.

The code is not that complex, so take a look at it and feel free to add, correct or modify stuff and make sure to push it :)

CryptoProfIT (Alpha Version)

https://github.com/LucidSkyWalkeCryptoProfIT/blob/masteREADME.md
The profit result can be used to calculate the tax on your crypto. The output are two csv-files. Example Screenshots can be found below.
The output files contain: - Sorted full trade history (converts all exchange exports to the same formatting) - Fees per Trade (inklusive Overall Payed fees) - Profit per trade (Overall profit. This can be used to easily calculate your personal capital taxes) - Profit can be calculated in EUR or USD. (Data from European Central Bank) - Amount of your Cryptocurrencies - Display the different BUY-INs by amount and date. So you can control the 12 month holding period.
Supported Exchanges: Binance, Bitfinex, Bittrex, Kraken, Mercatox, Poloniex, Costum*
*A dummy file is included that can be used to easily add trades of other exchanges. If you give me a csv-file export from other exchanges (you can modify the digits for privacy) I will add them.
PLEASE READ: I wrote this tool to calculate my taxes and it did the job fine! Nevertheless it is not well tested yet. If you run into trouble, please write an issue and I will fix it! Thank you :)

Screenshots

Screenshot1 Screenshot of the output.csv. The data of all exchanges is formatted in its specific ways and displayed in a uniform style. Type always refers to the first token of the pair! (First transaction shows buying XRP by BTC) Base Price always refers to the second token of the pair. Base Price in USD shows the price of the second token in USD.
Screenshot2 Screenshot of the holding_output.csv. This file can be used to specify your remaining holding times, as Capital gains do not need to be taxed in many countries after 12 month The picture shows (in red), that the first of the remaining ETH were bought on 2017-06-02, meaning that this amount is tax-free one year later. The blue frame shows the date for the next tokens...
Screenshot3 Console output of the Python script (Not my real data ;)

Requirements

For now, there is no Gui so you have to use the python script. If some dev likes to help, making a gui or a brython version would be neat.

HOWTO:

Setting up Python:

Using the script:

* This package uses the European Central Bank as source for EUUSD to get the historical exchange rates. Author: Alex Prengère Home Page: https://github.com/alexprengere/currencyconverter

Fork information:

A tax accountant told me, you need to pay taxes on the profit of your received forked coins as soon as you get them. Therefore a "dummy" trade needs to be manually added to one of the csv export files in "trade_history_files". * Add a "Buy" transaction at the moment you reveived the coins. (with price "0") * Add a "Sell" transaction a few seconds later (price = initial price of forked coin) you made the inital profit. * Add a "Buy" transaction a few seconds later than before (price = initial price) Because you know still got the coins Simplifing this could be a feature in a future version...

Using the dummy-file:

You can use this file to add trades from exchanges that do not provide trade history exports. Important: You have to use the same formatting like the sample data in the file. Ensure the right date formatting, and use "." for decimals.

Other Information:

Disclaimer:

I wrote this tool to calculate my taxes and thought I share it. I do not guarantee that the results are 100% accurate, but the script might help you getting a well formatted output csv you can work with.

CryptoProfIT: Free Tool for Tax Calculation. (Community Project, Please Read!)

Hi together! I created a Free Python Script to process your trade histories.
It would be awesome if this would become a community project which everybody involved in Cryptos can use for FREE.
The logic should be ready and next steps would be: -testing -creating gui or webapplication -adding features
Follow the HOWTO (below) and to calculate your profits etc.! If you run into any problems or if you need more exchanges write it in the comments and I will add them! (I could only integrate the ones I use, cause I only got csv files from there)

I am searching for complete minute by minute historical data of bitcoin (and altcoins) in .csv formats for analysis.
If possible, I'm looking for price (high/low is USD or EUR), volume and market cap.

BitcoinAverage.com - now open source and other updates

Hi reddit
We have an update - we've just launched a simple charts page as per numerous requests, and we've started gathering historical data, which can be found via API in CSV format here
Also, we're now out of beta and out of the shadows - the source is now open. Yes, since we're happy with the source quality, we've published it on github. Now everyone can verify the calculation algorithms and ensure that the service remains, as long as somebody is willing to maintain it. Code reviews and feature pull requests are also welcome.
Also we've added a few boring text pages - FAQ about how to contact us, where source is, how the price is calculated etc.
A few more exchanges have been added, we're fetching all the data we can get. If you know of any exchange we're not integrated yet with - let us know.
As always you can contact us direct at [email protected], tweet us @BitcoinAverage, or comment on our bitcointalk thread
Warm Regards BitcoinAverage

Best site to export hourly price/volume of coins?

I’ve been looking all over to find a good site to export historical bitcoin/ethereum/litecoin... in CSV or XLSX format and have yet to find one good and Free resource.
For example, if I wanted to see the hourly trade (price and volume) data for Bitcoin on say December 25, 2017 in Eastern Standard time. Is there a place that I could even find such granular data without paying for a premium service?

Extracting from blockchain.info a csv file with a specific date range?

Hey everyone,
I'm currently trying to download a .csv file from blockchain.info for the "Total Bitcoins in Circulation"
On the bottom left, you can select from default ranges: i.e. 180 days, which renders the link
https://blockchain.info/charts/total-bitcoins?timespan=180days&showDataPoints=false&daysAverageString=1&show_header=true&scale=0&address=
Or, i.e. All Time, which renders the link
https://blockchain.info/charts/total-bitcoins?timespan=all&showDataPoints=false&daysAverageString=1&show_header=true&scale=0&address=
From there you can click the CSV button on the bottom right and the link is
https://blockchain.info/charts/n-transactions?showDataPoints=false×pan=all&show_header=true&daysAverageString=1&scale=0&format=csv&address
which you can open in a different tab and see the data (for all time) in csv format (which you can save).
My question is: Is it possible to change the 'timespan=all* or 180 to a range of specific dates (e.g. 01/01/2013 to 01/01/2014)?* I've tried entering a few dates in different formats but to no avail.
It is possible with Coindesk by changing the range and data type in their sample request at: http://www.coindesk.com/api/
e.g. https://api.coindesk.com/v1/bpi/historical/close.csv?start=2013-01-01&end=2014-01-01
EDIT: Thanks in advance!
